I am finally getting around to posting about our trip. I have so many freaking pictures (3 weeks worth), so prepare..
We were so incredibly lucky to travel to Europe this last July. Anybody who knows me knows I have a crazy obsession with England, so as soon as we had the opportunity to go, I was so dang excited! We stayed with the Dujardin family (family friends), and they live in Lille France. It's a small town in Northern France, and it was so cute!!
We spent a while in Lille walking around, eating lots of french food, and getting to know the place where our friends are from. Its the cutest little city. Everything is all so different from America!
(if you look closely, you can see the cannonballs that have stayed in the side of the building from many many years ago... cool huh?)

We had so many incredible home cooked meals and went to lots of different restaurants, and let me tell you... the French have some amazing food. (shocker i know)

Our time in Lille was so fun. We are so grateful to the Dujardins for opening up their home to us. It was so beautiful and the field in their backyard made for a really pretty view of the sunsets. We were taken care of so well, and we made some incredible memories. It's definitely another home away from home.
